It’s gone!!

Well, I’ve now sent the first six chapters off to the agent, so will let you know what feedback I get, keep your fingers crossed for me! I’m keeping fairly positive at the moment, although I know it may be a few weeks before I hear anything either way.

Meanwhile, Chapter 7 is formulating itself in my mind, and I was taken by surprise when a new character for Book Two popped into my head and said ‘Hi!’ yesterday. I’m doing some research on Chinese Mitten Crabs at the moment, where they originate from and what the culture is like in that area, so this will drive development of one of my characters and could even affect the plot lines I have planned for him.

I’m planning to upload a couple of extracts from the early chapters as tasters, feel free to blog me with feedback.

    Good luck with the agent S, they will love the book. And if not, then you can always take to yelling bad accountancy jokes at passers by and hope they pay you to be quiet…

    Thanks, taxman!! I don’t know many accountancy jokes, but I know some wildlife ones. I think I’m gonna start a joke of the week section!!

    Still waiting for that cuppa though…….
