Libertine

Well, I’ve had lots of feedback on Alex’s Story, mostly positive, all constructive. The difficulty is that it doesn’t slot nicely into any particular genre, which leaves a question-mark over how commercial it will be. I’m passionate about the story and trust me, it will get written, but there has been a further development.

One morning last week I had a flash of inspiration in which two new characters introduced themselves to me. A couple of days later a third chap came and said hello too. So, I’m also working on a story of an angel and a vampire, set in the late 80’s gothic/rock scene. So raise a Snakebite ‘n’ black and toast the new fantasy super (well she likes to think so) hero, Libertine…

Libertine eh? I heard a rumour that there was a new heroine on the block. I also heard that the preliminary material is excellent. Maybe a sneak preview for your favourite tax nerd?

BTW – I have read the first few pages of space captain smith. Hilarious – I even laughed out loud a couple of times. Thanks for the introduction!

But of course, as one of the ‘Inner sanctum’ you have priority!! I’m pleased that her reputation precedes her, she would be very pleased too, you’ll see why when you read it! Will bring it with me on Monday…

Meanwhile, glad you’re liking SCS. The third book Wrath of the Lemmingmen is due out soon. On 4th July, at 7pm Toby Frost will be signing books at St Alban’s Waterstones.
