I have spent the weekend focusing on writing, getting set up to deal with being partially self employed, getting my name ‘out there’ on twitter, facebook, and Musicbrick.
I’ve also just joined the British Fantasy Society, and I’m hoping to submit some short stories to them to see if they get published in their magazine.
As well as effort on my part, I’m really pleased to be able to say that I have recently received some excellent feedback from several sources, which is both encouraging and exciting. One thing that seems to generate a good response is emotional honesty. Now I know this, I will make a conscious effort to build it into my writing wherever I can.
